Childcare Assistance

Protect your children while you seek employment.

Safe, dependable child care is a necessity for parents who work or go to school. The Workforce Center may be able to help offset some of the costs of child care for individuals who are going to school or beginning a new job if eligibility criteria is met.

Generally, the Workforce Center will verify the need for child care assistance and will make arrangements to pay the qualified child care provider directly. The costs for child care can only be provided for the period of time required to attend school or the hours spent at work.

Check the "WIA Eligibility" and "TEA Eligibility" section of this website to see if you might be eligible for these services.
